A home for creatives

Hue House is the art studio home for Dr. Kat Stephens-Peace and Dr. Robin Phelps-Ward located on the second floor of the ART at the Murray building just above The Caffeinery and Murray’s Jewelers in Muncie, Ind. We are located in Suite 206.

Hue House serves as a community for local creatives to convene, reflect, gain inspiration, learn, and engage in creative exploration for joyful living.

Paint & Create ($23) - September 20, 11-12:30 pm

  • During this attendees will experiment with color, tones, hues, color mixing, and take home an original 8x10 original artwork made by YOU!

Yappy Hour (Hy-flex available in-person & via Zoom [free for Zoom attendees])

  • October Yappy Hour - Topic: Cultivating Friendships ($7)

    • Tuesday, October 14, 5-6 pm, In-Person Registration, Online Registration (FREE)

    • Yap, color, and eat treats and snacks for local Muncie businesses at the Hue House Yappy Hour with Kat and Robin (in-person), and Janay (online). During this event attendees will engage in a creative activity and discuss ways we cultivate caring, reciprocal, and life-giving friendships.

  • November Yappy Hour - Topic: Using Our Gifts & Talents ($10)

    • Yap, color, and eat treats and snacks for local Muncie businesses at the Hue House Yappy Hour with Kat and Robin (in-person), and Janay (online). During this event attendees will will engage in a creative activity and discuss ways we use our gifts and talents and ways we incorporate them into our lives and communities.

  • December Yappy Hour - Topic: Maintaining Self-Care ($10)

    • Tuesday, December 2, 5-6 pm, In-Person Registration, Online Registration (FREE)

    • Yap, color, and eat treats and snacks for local Muncie businesses at the Hue House Yappy Hour with Kat and Robin (in-person), and Janay (online). During this event attendees will have time to quietly color and eat cupcakes in one room OR join for a conversation discussing ways we engage in self-care.
